Our partner IBM – ZRL hosted the 2009 Bimore industrial workshop, with a dense and highly interactive program of relevant topics for a career in industry.

The coordinator, still at Politecnico di Milano, conducted this hands-on workshop to introduce into the dynamics of photoexcited states: how to measure them and how to develop a photophysical model out of dynamic spectroscopic data. Invited experts gave tutorial talks.

This summer school, organized by the Glasgow group, was focused entirely on the so-called complementary skills. Interactive workshops were focused on: ethics in science, working with news media, oral presentation skills (video training course), and management of a work group including funding acquisition.

This summer school, organized by the coordinator, was focused on the scientific approach of the Bimore network. All groups presented tutorial talks introducing into their fields.
