Scientist in Charge:Prof. Dr. Richard Cogdell

We study the highly efficient energy and electron transfer processes in photosynthetic complexes. These investigations help us to understand nature's strategy for interfacing and device integration, and they provide our early state researchers with a profound background in biological and biochemical aspects necessary for this field. The knowledge is exploited by the synthetic chemists in the network to optimize their systems.
