Department of PhysicsScientist in Charge: We synthesize novel organic semiconductors based on -conjugated aminoacids in a combinatorial protocol. We study the electronic properties of these new systems by photoexcitation spectroscopy in order to optimize them for electronic and opto-lectronic applications like nanoscale emitters and charge transporters.
